This past Sunday saw the start of the UK Rug Racers Series, held at the Wodson Park Leisure Centre in Hertfordshire. A long running UK winter series, Rug Racers attracted a strong line up for the 13.5 Stock Class.
In Qualifying, Team XRAY's Zak Finlay managed to take the TQ spot ahead of another XRAY pilot, Tony Broad with the pairing of Billy Fletcher and Jimmy Maddison lining up 3rd and 4th respectively.
In what turned out to be an eventful set of finals, Zak managed to take comfortable victories in both legs to give him the overall win. Jimmy Maddison finishing in 2nd and Tony Broad in 3rd.
